Nancy–how lovely to see your face! Thank you for putting a photo up. 🙂
Nancy–my sister Ruth Lott sent me a copy of your blog. I was interested to note the article on Dr. Tozer. He has ben a great favorite of mine from way back when and I was glad to find this on your blog. My son isPhilip Yancey, who is also a writer. The article you wrote about my sister was true and I’m glad she has contact with you. I believe she said she is in a Writer’s group with you or something like that. It’s really a small world, isn’t it? Dr.Tozer is an old favorite of mine and I’m just rereading his book on The Knowledge of the Holy” which I try to read regularly each year. I understand it was the last one he wrote and his wife completed it after his Homegoing. Glad to make your acquaintance.
Mildred D. Yancey (sister of Ruth D. Lott)
Thank you very much, Mildred, for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. Your son is one of my favorite authors! Right now I’m reading Grace Notes. As you know, it’s designed for devotional reading, one page per day. But I’m already reading September’s entries! One a day just isn’t enough.
I’m delighted you found the Dr. Tozer article meaningful. He’s another favorite author of mine. What a great habit you’ve established, to read Knowledge of the Holy each year. I did not know his wife completed the book after his homegoing.
I hope you’ll stop by the blog again sometime!
I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award. You can find more information about it at http://drawingfromthewell.wordpress.com/awards/#Liebster. If the link doesn’t work simply go to the Awards page on Drawing From The Well and scroll down. Congratulations!
So enjoyed ‘reconnecting’ with you today and could not wait to read your blog! Thank you! Loved all of it and look forward to reading more. Keep on keeping on – you are sowing Blessings more than you can know. Lynda
We, too, enjoyed greatly the relaxing, refreshing time with you two. And thank you very much for your encouragement and affirmation. I am honored and humbled you find the posts meaningful!
Nancy, I recently began following your blog and want to thank you for the insight and comfort I discover in each encounter with your uniquely warm and spirit-filled perceptions. I recently discovered Dr. Tozer and look forward to your thoughts.
Thank you, Susan. Your encouragement means much!
Thank you for letting us know! Love, Mom
Hello, Dave!
That graphic came from pinterest; I don’t know its origin. I cannot take credit for it! Perhaps you could make your own image on http://www.canva.com? I’m very sorry I can’t help you. Sincerely, Nancy Ruegg
Thanks for sharing from such a relevant perspective of relationships and faith. Also, great creativity and awesome art choices.
Thank you, Tim, for your encouragement!
